XO Seafoodbar is the laid-back fish restaurant from the world of restaurateur and chef Fabio Haebel. In St. Pauli, sustainable fish, great hospitality and an excellent wine and cocktail culture come together. Relaxed, creative and without any fine-dining attitude.

„The small, elegant-modern restaurant is tucked away across several levels. One highlight is the open kitchen with chef's table – if you're lucky, you'll land right in the middle of things, though here you're always in the thick of it anyway. In summer, there's a terrace looking out over the lively, scene-y Paul-Roosen-Straße in the heart of St. Pauli.“
The focus is on fish and seafood from responsible fisheries. Oysters, crudo, mussels, the signature dish 'Pasta Krabbe' or changing market dishes reveal a modern kitchen that puts the flavour of the product above all else. With the ‘Chef's Choice’ menu, the kitchen takes over the selection.
The wine list is also one of the house's strengths. Natural wines, exciting discoveries and good cocktails accompany the kitchen with great ease. If you let yourself be advised, you're in good hands. And when host Lutz Lonchant is on duty, there's often a bottle or two that isn't on the list.
From here it's just a neighbourly stone's throw on foot to Weinbar St. Pauli and The Rabbithole Bar, both bars we recommend, and the evening can carry on there!
