Small, unpretentious family-run place in Sternschanze, where Thai and Nepalese dishes are prepared fresh and with heart. Among the many Asian snack bars of the Schanze, Asia Unique stands out pleasantly. Unassuming from the outside, but not without reason a favourite address of restaurateur and TV chef Tim Mälzer.

Fried rice and fried noodles are solid. The real magic begins with the curries and wok dishes. Classics are Pad Thai and Tom Kha Gai, while the Nepalese side shines with Butter Chicken and the curry masala and korma dishes. Uncomplicated, affordable lunch or dinner, takeaway also available.
